WHO WE ARE
Design One is a custom manufacturer of colored glassware sets, charger plates, China sets, and flatware sets. As a subsidiary of Cornel Enterprises Inc, both of which are registered in the state of Florida, we have the most extensive inventory of lead-free, food-, drink-, and dishwasher-safe tableware product lines for individuals and other hospitality industries.
The weight of our wares is always a dead giveaway that you’re holding something special. Colors and shapes are both timeless and contemporary. OUR STORY & HISTORY
Design One is a company that began with a dream. Felix Alexandrescu, the CEO and the brainchild behind this company has always wanted to start his own business in the hospitality industry. The lack of interesting, high-quality hospitality and tableware options in Romania, where he grew up until he was 19 years old, was the driving force behind his desire to create his own line of products.
He then moved to New York and made a name for himself when he relocated to Florida in 2000. There, he founded A. Alexander Event LLC, a company which provides catering services, and Different Look Inc, a tabletop rental company. Both grew to be multimillion-dollar businesses with hundreds of employees before he sold them both in November 2021. At the time of the sale, A. Alexander Event LLC was over 20 years old, and Different Look Inc was only 4 years old.
After spending over 20 years catering to South Florida’s affluent clients as the owner of a high-end caterer and tabletop rental company, he embarked on a new adventure that gave birth to Design One. He now hopes to turn the company into a multibillion-dollar corporation by offering people unique, high-quality American-made tableware lines that spark conversation. Design One is only allowed to conduct business 125 miles from West Palm Beach and nationwide due to the non-compete agreement signed.
He is divorced and has two wonderful sons, Joseph, 17, and Henry, 18.

OUR BUSINESS MODEL
CUSTOM PIECES
We curate our designs and colors, but custom orders are also accepted. If you need a design or color, not in our catalog, don’t hesitate to contact us at custom@designone.com, and we will gladly produce it for you.
FAST DELIVERY
We create one-of-a-kind pieces/products and make them available for delivery and pickup to clients within 7 days. Our customers do not have to wait for orders from China or India, which typically take 3-9 months to arrive. China sets and charger plates require a minimum order of 50 pieces. Colored glassware requires a minimum order of 10 cases or 250 glasses.
POCKET FRIENDLY
Price points are comparable to imports because of the company’s relationship with large distributors in the US.
OUR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Our design philosophy at Design One is based on a “memory-filled life” – what materials and wares you will never tire of and want to use daily, bringing new memories with each use. As a result, all of our products will provide you with satisfaction in your dining and kitchen areas. There are charger plates to match silver, black, or gold flatware, glasses, tumblers, and champagne flutes to toast with at dinner parties.
WHAT SETS US APART
Our business model allows us to provide colored glassware, charger plates and china sets in 7 days or less.
We curate our own designs and develop our own colors but can also accept custom orders. Should you need a custom design or color that is not part of our catalogue, please reach out to support@designone.com and we will gladly produce it for you.
China sets and charger plate order minimums are 50 pieces. Colored glassware order minimums are 10 cases or 250 glasses.
